Credo is an opportunity for students to learn the whys and whats of the Catholic Church on a variety of topics particularly regarding faith and morals.  Many students go to college with limited knowledge or enthusiasm for the teachings of the Church.

Credo provides a deeper understanding and an exciting time to grow and ask questions you may not have had the opportunity or courage to ask before.  With a sure adherence to the Magisterium of the Church, you can be confident that what you will receive in this program is authentically Catholic and will elevate your gratitude and excitement for being a part of the Church.

Credo is directed by Gabriel Eckstein, Campus Minster. Knowing the important link between catechesis and evangelization (i.e., we can’t give what we don’t have), CCM set out to find the right person to serve our student faith community.  God provided! In describing what he will bring to CCM, Gabriel says, “I learned how to catechize and evangelize from leading experts. At Franciscan University of Steubenville I studied the deposit of faith and how to hand it on from Scott Hahn and Sr. M. Johanna Paruch, FSGM. At Sacred Heart Major Seminary I received a comprehensive education on scripture, sacraments, and applied theology. I was blessed to have the opportunity to study the New Evangelization under Ralph Martin and the relationship between Evangelization and Spirituality under Mary Healy.”

Credo is a weekly event:
